Today I have been packing up all my things and will be moving into my new house till february. It is sad to see that I can pack up my entire life within two suitcases and a couple of bags. It is very exciting knowing that I will finally have a room with a door on it haha. No more sleeping in the living room for me. Please note that I am not complaining about my current sleeping arrangements as it as a been a great time, but a part of me just can't wait to have some sort of privacy. I'm not moving to far, just the next suburb over which is about a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk (as i walked over last night to sign my agreement). I'm actually closer to the mall now and still have the bus route close by for when I have to work and all the poeple that I have met are still close by. I don't have the exact address yet but can email it to those who want to send me christmas gifts, haha, just kiddng. However, if you do want my address, please ask as I don't want to post it online for everyone.
Luv you
Jenn

Hi,Jenn
ReplyDeleteI was looking at the island of Kijiji to find your whereabouts and then found out that it was just an electronic marketplace and by the time I found Fiji, you were gone already. I still checked the city of Suva to see if you were doing the Indian Firewalking dance ,but in vain.
They said you switched from Kava to Aka Goon,
so I figured you must be back in Brisbane.
I have a niece somewhere around there; in Goodna, just a few miles South of you; don't know if she still lives there; very sad story;spent the first few years of her life in a Japanese concentration camp in Indonesia;after the war emigrated to Australia, got married ,had two children, got divrced and moved to Goodna.Lots of sadness in this life's story.
I think she once told me there is a beautiful island along the coast there, popular for holidays; if there is,it may be a place to visit ;closer than Fiji and cheaper, I guess.
So things should be getting warmer for you there pretty soon. hope these musings reach you in good health and have fun while you are there.
Greetings from all of us here'
Papa John
Hi there Papa. Thanks for the message. I love hearing about any of the stories going down back home or wherever. It's nice to see that people are still thinking about me. It makes me excited to know that even though my trip will have to end at some point, there people who care to go back home to. Hope things are well. With love, Jenn
ReplyDeleteI think it is too late to send you a Christmas present;besides, you may have moved again after the last unpacking excercise.
ReplyDeletehope you enjoy your new location, and your job too. It will probably keep you busy at this time of the year.
Anyway, if it is too busy for blogging, have
a wonderful Christmas season without snow.
(who needs it anyway?)
